OSAAT #191 - Bingo

OK, the theme this week at One Stitch at a Time is Bingo and the Bingo card is below. You MUST still use a digi no matter which line of the bingo card that you use.

I used the middle line - Stickles, Dies and 3 or More Layers. I chose Coosty Creations' Camel Digital Pack from Stitchybear Dig Outlet and you get the image plus the backing papers in the pack. You have to agree, surely, that this camel is a real sweetie. I love camels. I know that they spit but that's just in their nature. lol

I used my Promarkers to colour the image and I used Stickles Diamond on his eyes, nose and mouth just to make them look moist. I hope you can see it on the photo. My large square card blank is by Joanna Sheen. The beige card is by Papermill. The handmade paper is by Indus and I thought it suited the camel image perfectly, along with the Coosty Creations' backing papers. I used some X Cut dies to cut the image and the two backing papers. I raised the image on foam pads and then to give it a little more oomph I added some Cosmic Shimmer Bronze liquid pearls  to the corners. I like this card and I can't always say that about my cards. lol My brothers have both had their birthdays this year so I'm not sure who'll be getting this masterpiece!

The sponsor this week is Creative Craft World with a prize of 3 Promarkers. Please check out the challenge blog for details of the prize structure.

Here is my card for this week's challenge at One Stitch at a Time with the theme of Autumn.

The digi is Peacock by Priyanka at Stitchybear Digital Stamp Shop. The card blank is by Craft UK. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and after cutting with a Spellbinders nestie I used Distress Ink on the edges. The mottled green/gold card is from Payper Box and the handmade paper is by Indus. I used the same mottled card to cut the Spellbinder flourishes and leaves.

Please check out the challenge blog for details of the prize structure.

I'm entering my card in to the following challenges:
Through the Craftroom Door - Anything Goes

#120 Friends Forever

The theme over at One Stitch at a Time is Use a Digi - a nice easy one for you so come and join us. I used this lovely digi, Friends Forever, by Teri of Delicious Doodles over at Stitchybear Digital Stamps Shop. The sponsor is Robin's Nest but do check out the OSAAT blog so you can see the prize structure.

The card blank is by Craft UK. The greeny/gold background card is by Papermill. I used some cream paper to make the corners (cut by hand!!). Yikes, but they're almost equal. lol I embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder before rubbing over with Distress Ink. I used two Spellbinder dies to cut the motifs in my new Indus Lokta paper. I also used this paper for the strip, going across the card, which I embellished with eyelets. I'd forgotten how difficult I find it to use the Crop-o-dile, oh, to be young again. The focal point is the beautiful digi by Teri of Delicious Doodles, over at Stitchybear Digital Stamps Shop. The image is called Forever Friends - hence my choice of  sentiment, by Lili of the Valley, which reads Always and Forever. I coloured the image with my trusty Promarkers and after cutting with a Spellbinders label die, I used Distress Ink on the inside edge. The finishing touch was a small horseshoe charm tied with a raffia bow. The charm, raffia and new paper were all from Hobbycraft.

The sponsor this week is Robin's Nest but please check the challenge blog for full details of prizes.

I'm entering this card in to the following challenges:
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Girls, Girls, Girls
Crafty Boots Challenge - Sport
Paper Makeup Stamps - Anything Goes but must use digi
Incy Wincy Designs - Anything Goes

Oldie but a Goodie - Summer Holidays - raffia is something old and this image reminds me of a holiday a few years back when some Norwegian friends came to stay. Their eldest daughter was horse mad, a difficult age teenager and didn't want to do anything until she'd ridden an 'English' horse. We booked her in to a local stables so that she could have a riding day. We wanted to enjoy the rest of the holidays! lol
The Paper Shelter - Punches and/or Dies
I love Promarkers - Anything Goes
