Hello everyone - a second post for today! I made a card for fun, no design team work and I think this is one of only a handful I've made since Eric's death. I just haven't been in the mood for crafting and making my design team cards for Stitchybear has actually covered me for family and friend birthdays during the past year. This morning I've finished off a card I started earlier this week. I've been very remiss in my blog entries and blog visits so I must apologise to all those bloggers who have commented time and time again, each week, and had nothing in return from me.
I was going to enter it into the Joanna Sheen craft forum monthly challenge and then I thought I would add it to my blog too.
The large square card blank is by Joanna Sheen. The image is from Joanna Sheen's Enchanted Dreams CD. I matted it on to Papermill purple card. The backing paper is from Chocolate Baroque's Peacock Summer Party CD and I matted that on to Papermill's cerise card. The little butterflies are all cut with a Martha Stewart punch in various papers. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves are all dies by Crealies and Marianne.
I'm entering it in to the following challenges:
The CD Sunday Challenge - Hats
Jellypark Friends Challenge - Celebrate Summer
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello Hazel. I'm so sorry to hear that Eric passed away last year. I haven't been on the JS forum for so long so missed hearing about it. I'm glad you are still crafting and love this card. The image is gorgeous (I wouldn't have though of looking on that CD for this challenge if I'd had too) and you've showcased it perfectly with the paper and embellishments.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining us at CD Sunday this week.
