The theme this week is Anything Goes so come along and join us at One Stitch at a Time. This image that I chose is by Coosty Creations over at Stitchybear Digi Outlet and it's called 'Doorway'. I can just imagine eating in this cosy little establishment, yum. There are gorgeous backing papers to match this image but I chose not to use them on this card as I already had the background in mind.
This challenge will last longer than usual so you have plenty of time to make your card over the festive period and join in with us.
The prize this week will be all the images used by the DT in challenge 192 but please check the challenge blog for full details of prizes.
I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Creative Moments - Anything Goes/Winter Wonderland
Digistamps4Joy - Anything Goes
Divas by Design - Anything Goes
The Stamping Chef - Anything Goes
4 Crafty Chicks - Food and/or Drink
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Polka Doodles - Anything Goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes
Thank you all for your best wishes. I'm feeling better, though I still have some way to go before I feel really fit - I've never had a cold that has been so bad!
Oh wow this is a stunning scene you have crafted. Beautifully colouring and I love the vines against the building.

Oh wow Hazel, what a wonderful country taverna you have created ..... perhaps we could visit together for a special dinner. Your backing papers looks like natural stone and I love the ivy climbing each side of the open doorway. Looks so cosy and inviting. Oh, what a beautiful card. Love Ingrid xxx
ReplyDeleteI like how inviting your card is. You have given it wonderful dimension and a view. Like the leaf flourishing. Would definitely like to go to a place that looks like this. Thanks for the virtual look into your scenery card.

Glad to hear you are feeling better Hazel. A super big WOW to your beautiful creation, bit of a long way to get to the place :) - I created the digi from a photo I took of an eating area which is in Nevis, an island near St. Kitts a few years ago. Beautifully coloured and love the ivy dies you have added. A perfect perfect card in my book :) :) :) Thank you so much for all the work you have put into this and making the digi look so good, you suterstar. Hugs Jane xxxxx
