OSAAT #205 - For a Woman in your Life

This week's theme is For a Woman in your Life and I've made this one for my niece. Come and join us at One Stitch at Time and you can also check out all the cards by the DT. I had to choose an image from Scrapper's Delights this week and I love the mushrooms so I chose Mushroom 1. I used Mushroom 2 last week and enjoyed colouring the image so much decided to go with more mushrooms this week! You can buy these wonderful digis at Stitchybear Dig Outlet, along with hundreds more.

I used a large card blank by Joanna Sheen and folded the front in half to take the circular image. I used my Promarkers for the image and then cut it with a Spellbinders grand circle, matting it on to the scalloped grand circle in bright pink glitter card. I've had all the glitter card for years and rarely use it but decided to go for glitter all the way this week. The glitter card is probably from Create and Craft. On the folded front I used pale pink glitter card as background for the bright pink circle. The base was bright pink glitter card with a pale pink pearlescent border on the front edge, topped with pearls by Mark Richards. I used a Memory Box Valerian flourish die in the pale pearlescent card for a little interest on the bottom panel. The 'stop' for the easel was made with pale pink pearlescent, bright pink glitter and then the sentiment generated on the computer. I added a larger pearl, Queen & Co, on each side of the stop and it was finished.

Please check out the OSAAT blog for details of the prizes.
