Yes, this is my third week as Guest Designer for the CD Sunday challenge blog. I can't believe it, it's gone by so quickly. The theme this week is Black and Blue. I used Joanna Sheen's 'Dancing With Shadows' CD for the image. I used 'diamond' gems from my stash to make her earrings and her jewelled headpiece. The image has a slight blue tinge to it so I backed it with bright turquoise blue card from Papermill and set it at the top left. The black embossed paper is from my stash but I have no idea where I got AND it's my last piece! The pearls are also from Joanna Sheen. I used a Wild Orchid Craft blue rose and edged it with blue Stickles. The card blank is from Craft UK.

Quiet Few Days
I've had a few days of rest from my blog - apart from commenting on cards on other blogs. I had no desire to make any cards but last night I coloured this image and this afternoon, after a lovely lunch with friends, I came home and finished this card. It's for the Lili of the Valley Challenge 112 which has the theme Red, Green and White. I used a Craft UK small square card blank and green Mirri card from Joanna Sheen. I embossed the white backing paper with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The LOTV image is one I got in a free pack with a magazine. I coloured her with Promarkers and used Sakura Gelly Roll pens to add glitz to her wings and her slippers. I set her on an oval Spellbinders nestie with the scalloped nestie behind. The red organza ribbon is from Create and Craft and the brad in the centre of the bow is from WOC. Three green gems from my stash finish off the layout.

Wings and Things with Spots and Stripes
Yes, I'm combining two challenges again! This time I'm entering Papertake Weekly - Wings and Things and Crafty Sentiments - Spots and Stripes.
My small square card blank is from Craft UK. The backing papers are from Costco, the pink one, and I think the green is printed from a CD. I've embossed the pink with the Cuttlebug folder, Swiss Dots (it's nearly spots) and I embossed the green one with my Martha Stewart Scorepal (stripes!). The pink base card is from Papermill and the bright cerise Mirri card is from Joanna Sheen. The image is from Joanna Sheen's range of Favourite Flowers stamps. I coloured it with Promarkers and then cut it out and mounted it on the Spellbinders butterfly edged nestie. The little 'waste' butterflies add to the one that is in the basket of flowers. Did you spot it?
I will also enter it in to another challenge: - Ladybug Crafts Ink - Flowers - You've got a whole basket full of them!

Missing You
The Lili of the Valley challenge blog this week has for their theme, 'Missing You'. I've used a small square Craft UK card blank and My Mind's Eye backing paper. The black card is from Papermill and the red organza ribbon from Create and Craft. The pearl brad is from WOC. My image is from LOTV and is coloured with trusty Promarkers before being cut with a Spellbinders nestie. I cut the oval scalloped nestie in black glitter card, it looks like a starry night and that's why I used it. The sentiment was generated on the computer AND BEFORE all your Shakespeare buffs get in touch with me I know about the sentiment but I've used artistic licence for this challenge, so there! lol

#79 - Anything Goes
Here we are with One Stitch at a Time's challenge for this week, 'Anything Goes'. I've used digis from Bonna of Kelleys Kids and the set is called the Vintage Women pack and you can buy it here. Once again I used a large square Craft UK card blank. I coloured three of the images with Promarkers and then cut them out very carefully. I used a background from Joanna Sheen's Cottage Gardens CD and arranged the women as if they were out for a walk in the garden. I tied a red organza ribbon round the spine of the card and tucked in a purple feather. The red and purple coordinated with the oufits of two of the women. Very elegant! I generated the sentiment on the computer in a Parisian font and added three small purple pearls.
The sponsor this week is The Stamping Boutique and the prize is 5 digi stamps of the winner's choice. Check it out here http://thestampingboutique.com/
