Anything Goes is the theme for this week's challenge at
One Stitch at a Time. I've used the image called 'Park Bench' and it's by Stitchybear at
Stitchybear Digital Stamps Store. I decided to make an easel card for this challenge as I think the park bench is the perfect shape for it. I'm not sure if the two girls are meant to be twins but I decided to make them twins and coloured them accordingly. I used Promarkers and then coloured the edges with Distress Inks. I used a Craft UK eight inch square card blank and folded it for the easel card. I mounted the image on to white card and the size worked perfectly. The glitter paper is from a First Edition paper pad called Hideaway and it's full of beautiful, green, yellow and tan papers. The corners and 'stop' panel are cut with my Spellbinders Parisian Accents dies. The sentiment was generated on the computer and mounted on to another of the Parisian Accents. The little dark red pearls are from WOC. I don't very often make shaped cards but I enjoyed making this easel card for a change.
Our sponsor this week is
Stitchybear herself so pop over to the challenge blog and enter, you don't want to miss out on a Stitchy prize.
We also have Joanna Sheen as a sponsor and there's a £10 voucher to win. Check out the goodies at her website.
