Come along and join us at International Art and Soul in this challenge, set by Maggie, of 'Add Some Sparkle'. This challenge will last for four weeks so you've got plenty of time to make a beauty.
My card is an 8x8 by Craft UK. The background paper with the bunting is by My Mind's Eye. I matted it on to red glitter card and added a strip of the glitter card towards the bottom of the mat. Green metallic card was used for the die cut Christmas tree which I think is by Joanna Sheen. The sentiment 'Christmas Wishes' was printed on cream paper and matted on to gold metallic card. Five sparkly cabochons, by Craft Box UK, were added to the strip of red glitter card.

MAWTT Monsters and/or Aliens
I used an 8 x 8 card blank by Joanna Sheen and made a mat of My Minds Eye fence paper. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and then cut it out very carefully before centring him on the fence. I surrounded him with Spellbinders die cut leaves in various sizes - he was supposed to look as if he was bursting out of the fence but I'm not sure I succeeded with that!! I generated the sentiment on the computer, added a little bit of red 'blood' and then stuck it in the monster's hand.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Crafty Sentiments: Anything Goes
Lemon Shortbread: Anything Goes
Through the Craft Room Door: Anything Goes
Crafting from the Heart: Anything Goes
Craft your Passion: Anything Goes
One Stitch at a Time: Anything Goes with Elements of Nature

MAWTT - Song Lyrics
This week it was the turn of Lena to choose the theme for the challenge over at Moving Along with the Times. She chose Song Lyrics and the one I chose was 'Be Happy' by Bob Marley.
I used a Joanna Sheen card blank and made a background mat of black card and My Mind's Eye paper. I coloured the image with my Promarkers, with gold Sakura pen for the ends of the stick, and cut it with Spellbinders grand oval nestie. I'm not sure who drew the digi or where my sentiment came from as I've had that stamped for a while. Anyway, the sentiment was matted on to green paper and black card and had a small flower gem added to one corner. The flower centre was made by Nataliya and the outer petals were sent to me by Laurie and they went together quite well. I added some leaves that I had already in my 'leaves box'. I'm having to use as much as I can that I had prepared months, if not years, ago due to this eye problem.
I'm not able to join in with any challenges just yet as I still can't spend too much time on the computer. Thank you all for bearing with me.

Inspiration Destination Challenge 18
This week at Inspiration Destination our sponsors are My Whimsical Little World and Bugaboo.
I chose Bugaboo's image of Stella Tidbits - Message, you can buy her here, and this is my card.
The card blank is by Craft UK. I used a sheet of My Mind's Eye paper as the backing sheet and wrote the notes of Stella's day in pencil. It's supposed to be a whiteboard in her office! lol The corners of the paper were rounded with a Carl's corner punch. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and fussy cut her, leaving the paper between her and the computer. The sentiment, which also comes from Bugaboo, was cut, corners rounded, and then edged with Distress Ink. I used Marianne dies for the swirl and the leaves. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Scrap and Craft Challenge - Anything Goes
Artbymiran Challenge - Anything Goes
Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes
That's Crafty Challenge - Tick Tock
The Stamping Boutique Challenge - Make your own background

Set my own challenge
Today I was feeling slightly better so I decided to set myself a challenge and make a card to follow a few challenges in one. The photo isn't too good but I think you can see the main points!
My card is a scalloped square by Craft UK. The pink pearlised card is from I know not where but the backing paper is a freebie from My Mind's Eye. I printed the image from Joanna Sheen's Daisy and Friends CD and coloured her with Promarkers. I cut the corners with my round corner punch to match the backing paper and card. I used Distress Ink round the edge of the image. My ribbon is from my Australian stash and my buttons came from Create and Craft many years ago. I used a Martha Stewart punch to punch out three small butterflies to add to the background.
I'm entering the card in to the following challenges:
Moving Along with the Times - Cute as a button
CD Sunday - From me to you
The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop - Spring Colours
Whoopsi Daisy - Punch it Out

#101 A Sign of Spring
This week the theme of the challenge at One Stitch at a Time is Use a digi - no rubber stamps! I used an image by Donna at Stitchybear Digital Stamps and it's called 'A Sign of Spring'.
I used a Craft UK small square card blank. The bronze card is by Papermill and the backing paper is by My Mind's Eye. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and gave the centres of the flowers some bling with my Sakura stardust pen, before cutting it with a Spellbinders nestie. I coloured and cut out the flowers again and decoupaged them to give some depth to the image. I used three small pearls, from Wild Orchid Crafts, at each corner.
The sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen who wil be supplying a £10 gift certificate for her online store.
I'm entering my card in to the following challenges:
Stamps R Us - Anything Goes
Ladybug Crafts Ink - Spring is in the Air
I love Promarkers - Nature
Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge - Anything Goes
Fairy Tale Challenge Blog - Spring
Allsorts Challenge - Anything Goes

Christmas Wishes
Here is my card for the first challenge on Joanna Sheen's Challenge Blog which has the theme 'Christmas Wishes'.
I've used a small House Mouse image of poor little HM shivering on the tree branch. The card blank is from Craft UK via Joanna Sheen's online store and the silver sparkle backing paper is from Papermania via Create and Craft. The two patterned backing papers are from Hot off the Press and My Mind's Eye. The HM image, from Joanna Sheen, was coloured with Promarkers and cut with a Spellbinders beaded circles nestie. Diamond Dust is added for the snow. Small silvery blue pearls are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The image is raised to give a little depth. The other image is a freebie digi from Shelly's Images and that has been given the Promarker and Diamond Dust treatment. The message, handwritten in Sakura Stardust pen, says Christmas is coming. Some small snowflakes have been stamped down the right top edge of the card and embossed with fluorescent glitter.

Missing You
The Lili of the Valley challenge blog this week has for their theme, 'Missing You'. I've used a small square Craft UK card blank and My Mind's Eye backing paper. The black card is from Papermill and the red organza ribbon from Create and Craft. The pearl brad is from WOC. My image is from LOTV and is coloured with trusty Promarkers before being cut with a Spellbinders nestie. I cut the oval scalloped nestie in black glitter card, it looks like a starry night and that's why I used it. The sentiment was generated on the computer AND BEFORE all your Shakespeare buffs get in touch with me I know about the sentiment but I've used artistic licence for this challenge, so there! lol

Christmas Wish
Today I've made a card that I'm entering in to two challenges -
Crafter's Companion Monthly Challenge - Christmas Wishes
Moving Along with the Times - a sketch
I couldn't make a better Christmas wish than the one I've used on the front of this card. I used a small Craft UK card blank and red Mirri card from Joanna Sheen. The backing paper is from a freebie pack of My Mind's Eye papers that I got in a Papercraft Inspirations magazine this week. The House Mouse image is coloured with Promarkers and cut with a Spellbinders nestie after having the edges distressed with black soot Distress Ink. Red card candi becomes berries for the holly leaves at the side. The candle has had Sakura gelly roll pen used on the flame and the grease to make them glisten.

Lili of the Valley Challenge 90
The theme for the LOTV challenge this week is Spring. I've used the LOTV cat stamp - she's carrying a bunch of spring flowers so it seemed ideal. The cardstock is Papermill, the backing paper is My Mind's Eye and was in a free pack from the Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine last year! The cat was stamped with Memento ink on to a Spellbinders nestie circle and coloured with Promarkers and edged with Distress Ink in dried marigold. The sentiment is also from LOTV. A raffia bow is tied at top right. I've been looking for raffia for ages after using my last piece on my friend's birthday card last month. I eventually bought this yesterday at Hobbycraft.
