OSAAT #150 - Anything Goes

Anything Goes is the challenge this week over at One Stitch at a Time challenge blog so come along and join us.

I was given the Serenity pack of papers by Oase, Panda Bear Designs, at Stitchybear Digital Stamps Shop for this week's card. A beautiful pack of papers and I was spoilt for choice. I eventually settled on the Tranquil paper and I didn't need to add much in the way of embellishments because the paper works alone. I printed it to fit an 8x8 card with a panel at the side for border and ribbon. After the sheet was printed I matted it on to gold Mirri card and set it to the right hand side of the Craft UK card blank. I had printed two sheets off and on one sheet I cut out the flowers in top left and bottom right corners and then decoupaged them to give depth to the design. In the panel to the left I added a gold Spellbinders border die - I think it's from the Parisian motifs set. A cream satin ribbon from my Australian stash also went into the panel and then all I had to add were some pearls, from Wild Orchid Crafts, to the top right and bottom left of the Tranquil paper.

Our own Stitchybear is the sponsor this week but check out the challenge blog for full details.

#95 Three Embellishments

The challenge at One Stitch at a Time is 'Use Three Embellishments'. I've used Panda Bear Design's paper pack 1 of Chocolate Valentine. The papers are scrummy and I used two of them, the large circles in chocolate and pink and the pale pink flowered for the oval backing.  I chose Stitchy's 'Frankie's Flower' as my digi image. The paper pack and the image are both available over at Stitchybear Digital Images Store.

My card blank is an eight inch square by Craft UK and the plain pink card is by Papermill. I coloured Frankie with Promarkers before cutting with the Spellbinders grand oval nestie. I added two hearts in slightly different shades of brown to match the beautiful backing paper. The hearts are from Create and Craft. I also added a flower as my third embellishment and this ties in with the flower that Frankie is giving! lol The flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves are cut with Crealies dies.

The winner will get three packs of die cuts of their own choice.

#94 Collaboration - The Tooth Fairy

Today the theme at One Stitch at a Time challenge blog is 'Use a Digi'. My papers are by Oase of Panda Bear Designs at Sitchybear Digital Stamps and the Tooth Fairy image is by Stitchy herself. The paper pack is Garden Fairies Pack one. I used the beautiful silvery blue paper with the pink fairy trails chasing across it and matted it on to silver card. I coloured the image with Promarkers and enhanced the wings with a Sakura stardust pen to give a glimmery look before carefully cutting it out. I used a Spellbinders classic circle nestie to cut a lovely silver patterned card as a backing for the fairy. She looks so cute, perched on that circle. The sentiment was generated on the computer. A silver metal flower/star shape from The Works is set at the top left. I have a drawer full of silver card but I have no idea where this came from - could have been any number of places I'm afraid, sorry. I love this image, it's so cute and I think it would make a perfect card for a child who has lost the first tooth - what a celebration when you find that £1 under your pillow! Or is more than that now? I haven't done it for quite a while. lol

Our sponsor for this challenge is Stitchybear herself - brilliant!

I'm Dreaming of a Green Christmas

The challenge over at Paperake Weekly challenge blog is I'm dreaming of a ............ (favourite colour) Christmas, and I think most of you know what my favourite colour is by now! I used a large square card blank by Craft UK and the green Mirri board came via Joanna Sheen. The green leaf backing paper is by Oase of Panda Bear Designs at Stitchybear Digital Stamps. The tree image is by Ladybug Crafts Ink and I coloured it with my Promarkers and glittered it with Diamond Dust. Three green pieces of Card Candi at the top and two Spellbinders Parisian Accent corners complete the design.

I've added two photos to make sure that you can see that glitter!! lol

I'm also entering the card in to the following challenges:
Paper Sundaes - Anything Christmas

#90 Seeing Red

That's the theme for the challenge over at One Stitch at a Time - Seeing Red. Teri, of Delicious Doodles, over at Stitchybear, has this wonderful image of a geranium stand and that's the one I chose for this challenge.

My card is a large scalloped square by Craft UK and I used Distress Ink on the edges. The red/gold mottled card is from Papermill and the red splodge backing paper is from the Garden Fairies paper pack number one by Oase of Panda Bear Designs, again at Stitchybear's Digital Store. I cut the backing paper with a scalloped grand nestie before backing with a square of red/gold mottled card. The red and black lace paper is from one of Joanna Sheen's lace paper pads. I cut round one section of lace and used it as a strip across the backing paper. The digi was coloured with Promarkers, cut with a Spellbinders nestie oval and backed with the scalloped oval nestie. Three red gem flowers, from my stash, are in each corner at the top.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Stitchybear!
