Humour

I've made this card for the Creative Card Crew challenge and their theme 'Humour'. I love Bugaboo stamps and have made quite a few birthday cards this year with their images. Here is another. I've used a Craft UK large square card blank. Coredinations paper from Crafters Companion, embossed with a Creative Expressions embossing folder and then sanded. The Bugaboo image was coloured with Promarkers, cut with a Spellbinders grand oval nestie before being edged with a Distress Ink. The Bugaboo sentiment was also cut with a Spellbinders die and edged with Distress Ink.

I'm also entering it in to the following challenges:
Shopping Our Stash Challenge 41 - Sentiments Required or Use a Bugaboo image - covered both!

    #102 Spring

One Stitch at a Time Challenge this week is Spring/Easter and I have the image, Pretty Flower Frame, by Jess over at Stitchybear Digital Stamps. I coloured the frame with Promarkers and glittered the centres of the flowers with Stickles. I framed a quote by Ruth Stout which I had printed on the computer in lilac to match the colour of the flowers, A small silver flower charm is bottom left of the quote. I bought the charm at Bluewater Craft Show. My base card blank was a large square from Craft UK. I used green backing paper from the First Edition Hideaway pad and matted it on to lilac card from  Papermill. The framed panel was raised on 3D pads and then I added two strips of baker's twine and a length of lilac organza ribbon to the left side panel. The baker's twine and ribbon were from Joanna Sheen.

The sponsor this week is our own Stitchybear. One winner will receive the full collaboration set of digis, see them in the poster below Stitchy's store badge. All beautiful images that can be seen on the DT blogs.
