One Stitch at a Time challenge blog is Make one for Christmas so here's mine. The digi is Silver Bells by Stitchy over at the Stitchybear Digital Stamp Shop. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and I also coloured the robins and holly on the stamped background. I think I got the stamps free in a magazine and I stamped them randomly over the paper before colouring and then cutting with a grand nestie. I matted that sheet on to red card from Papermill. The image was cut with a nestie and matted on to more red card and then a mat of silver. The card blank is a large scalloped 8x8 card by Craft UK. I typed Silver Bells in red and then cut with the small nestie before matting on to silver card. I love this Spellbinders label shape and I have them in every size. Check the OSAAT blog for details of the prizes.
It's only the second Christmas card I've made this year. I'm not making my Christmas cards this year due to Eric's illness and subsequent death. He was always at hand to advise me and make suggestions about which design I should use for our cards each year. This year I'm going to give it a miss because I don't feel like making them without him.
