OSAAT #184 - Use a Digi

Use a Digi is the theme for this week's challenge at One Stitch at a Time so come along and join us.

It was Shell's turn to choose an image for herself, Josephine and me, and she chose Window by Priyanka at My Heart Pieces at the Stitchybear Digi Outlet.

My card blank, is a Joanna Sheen 8x8 square. The burnt orange card and the yellow card is by Papermill. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and cut it with a Spellbinders grand nestie before matting it on to the burnt orange larger size label.  The glitter paper is from a First Edition pad called Hideaway and that was matted on to the orange card.. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the yellow diecuts are from Memory Box dies.

Please check the OSAAT challenge blog for details of prizes.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

  1. Another beauty Hazel, love the die you have used to trail up the sides of the card, the perfect finishing touch. Won't be long till Spring is back and windows can be thrown open again in the household :) Hugs Jane xxxx

  2. Oooh Hazel, this is so pretty and I'm having a chuckle as I see that Jane and I share the same 'Spring' thought although, in all fairness, this card would be a wonderful 'pick me up' at any time of the year. I love the die cuts that you chose to use because the gentle shape of them seems to ephasise the curtain moving gently in the breeze. Once again you have created a card that makes me feel very happy. Love Ingrid xx

  4. Absolutely beautiful, Hazel! I love that die you used for the image, and the pretty, delicate colours. I also love the way that what I saw as shutters, you saw as the actual window - it's one of the great things about stamps - there's so much you can alter just by the way you colour.
