OSAAT #191 - Bingo

OK, the theme this week at One Stitch at a Time is Bingo and the Bingo card is below. You MUST still use a digi no matter which line of the bingo card that you use.

I used the middle line - Stickles, Dies and 3 or More Layers. I chose Coosty Creations' Camel Digital Pack from Stitchybear Dig Outlet and you get the image plus the backing papers in the pack. You have to agree, surely, that this camel is a real sweetie. I love camels. I know that they spit but that's just in their nature. lol

I used my Promarkers to colour the image and I used Stickles Diamond on his eyes, nose and mouth just to make them look moist. I hope you can see it on the photo. My large square card blank is by Joanna Sheen. The beige card is by Papermill. The handmade paper is by Indus and I thought it suited the camel image perfectly, along with the Coosty Creations' backing papers. I used some X Cut dies to cut the image and the two backing papers. I raised the image on foam pads and then to give it a little more oomph I added some Cosmic Shimmer Bronze liquid pearls  to the corners. I like this card and I can't always say that about my cards. lol My brothers have both had their birthdays this year so I'm not sure who'll be getting this masterpiece!

The sponsor this week is Creative Craft World with a prize of 3 Promarkers. Please check out the challenge blog for details of the prize structure.

  1. Oh Hazel, what an utterly brilliant card. Your camel has no reason to 'spit' when you have treated him wih such dignity and close observation....He looks ready to gallop of the front of your card just so that he can give you one great big slobbery kiss. I love the handmade paper that you have used as it looks so like the sand in a desert. Oh how good it is to hear that you are happy with this most lovely card. Love Ingrid xxx ♥

  5. Very cool, and the background paper nice touch, I've never seen a camel in real life, but they sure do seem amazing. Thanks for playing our challenge, great job!

  6. This is fabulous, Hazel. The camel's an unusual subject for a card, but there's bound to be someone who's a perfect recipient! (I know I can think of one ...)

  13. Hazel, this is great! Love how you've done the layers using the die-cuts. Your camel is very cute and I thought at first glance your liquid pearls were studs. I may just have to check these out, lol. Thanks for sharing this!
