This is my first card for quite a few days. I have my DT cards prepared a few weeks in advance so I've had a relatively quiet holiday period. Today was going to be my first full day of rest so I decided to play. It took me a while to get back into the swing of things but I'm so glad I got a card finished. Maybe I'll be able to continue in the same vein for the foreseeable future.
I used a Craft UK 8x8 card blank. The tan card is from Papermill and the backing paper is from a First Edition paper pad called Hideaway. I coloured the Joanna Sheen HM image with Promarkers and used Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap on the edges. I used my Martha Stuart deep edge double arch punch around the page for the mat. The organza ribbon and diamante buckles are both from Joanna Sheen. The sentiment was on a freebie sheet I got in a magazine this week. I distressed the edge with Frayed Burlap and backed it with the tan card.
