Challenge 80 - Punch It

Over at One Stitch at a Time we have the challenge Punch It. I chose to use Claire's image of Hester Hen and you can buy it from the Hope Jacare Doodles section  here.

I coloured Hester with Promarkers and cut her with my Spellbinders square nestie and backed it with the scalloped nestie in red Mirri card. I punched a heart in the same Mirri card and placed it top right in the square. The backing paper is a lovely muted dark red patterned paper from Costco. I used a Martha Stewart punch to edge the bottom of the card. Some of the shapes that were waste I added to Hester's tail to give her a bit of bling. I love this image. I used my favourite Craft UK card blank in 8 x 8 size.
