One Stitch at a Time we have the challenge Punch It. I chose to use Claire's image of Hester Hen and you can buy it from the Hope Jacare Doodles section here.
The sponsor this week is Joanna Sheen and the prize is a £10 voucher to spend at her online store - lucky winner.
I coloured Hester with Promarkers and cut her with my Spellbinders square nestie and backed it with the scalloped nestie in red Mirri card. I punched a heart in the same Mirri card and placed it top right in the square. The backing paper is a lovely muted dark red patterned paper from Costco. I used a Martha Stewart punch to edge the bottom of the card. Some of the shapes that were waste I added to Hester's tail to give her a bit of bling. I love this image. I used my favourite Craft UK card blank in 8 x 8 size.
I'm entering this card in to the following challenges:
Stamps and Fun - Creativity - Animals
City Crafter Challenge Blog - I Heart You (incorporate a heart)
Papertake Weekly - Things With Wings
Crafts and Me - Add a heart
For Fun - Red, brown, yellow
