For Our Tomorrow
I've loved meeting this challenge so thank you Simon Says Stamp. Their theme was Photo Inspiration - A Poppy Field. I used the image of the poppies from my Joanna Sheen's Garden Fairy Collection of stamps. I coloured it with Promarkers, including the background, and cut it with a Spellbinders rectangle nestie, backing it with a red scalloped rectangle. The red card was from Papermill. My card blank was from Craft UK and the backing paper is actually the wrong side of a sheet of orange pearlescent paper. It was just the colour that I wanted to tie in with the background of the poppies. The border, corners and sentiment plate are from Spellbinders Parisian Accents set. The sentiment is a LOTV stamp, stamped in Versacolor Poppy red.

ReplyDeleteLove this Hazel, it's one of my favourite stamps. As for Christmas cards I've made about 60 extra I think which are going to charity if I ever get them sorted out! Carol x
