IAAS Make your own background

Come and join us at International Art and Soul and show us what you can do with Josephine's choice of theme 'Make your own background'.

My card blank is a 7x7 by Craft UK. My background is made using a Leonie Pujol set of daisy stamps. I stamped them in Memento cocoa and then matted the sheet on to lime green card by Papermill. The image of the flower and bugs is by Bugaboo and was coloured with my Promarkers. I cut it with a Spellbinder classic oval die and then edged it with Distress Ink. I set the oval to the right side of the card and that was it completed. A reasonably simple card but I like it! lol

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes
City Crafter - Floral Laura (must have floral background)
Digi Choosday - Anything Goes
Lemon Shortbread - Anything Goes
I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes
Simon Says Wednesday - Anything Goes

Creative Fingers - Anything Goes
Polkadoodles - Anything Goes

Thanks for visiting, I hope to see you again soon.

  6. Hi Hazel! Thank you for your comment on my post pointing out my "drinking" typo; I was using voice recognition on my phone to write my post well holding my fussy son and I obviously didn't edit it very well! It now reads inking as it should have! I hope you're doing well. Your card is lovely. Great background for such a sweet image. So glad you're my DT sister. Best, CG
