MAWTT Come Dancing
This week it's my turn to host the challenge over at Moving Along with the Times. I chose for my theme 'Come Dancing' and this is my card. Please pop over to the blog to see all of Team B's cards, they're all fantastic.
My base card is a 7x7 by UK Craft and the orange card is by Papermill. I embossed the white paper with a 'bows' embossing folder but I'm blowed if I can remember who made it, sorry. The embossed paper was matted on to the orange card and then I used a Sue Wilson die for the bottom fancy border. The two music dies are by Memory Box and I cut them in black card from Joanna Sheen. The dancing silhouette is by Stitchybear and is cut with a Spellbinders die. I used my new sentiment by Visible Image and cut with a smaller Spellbinder die, same shape as the silhouette, before edging with an orange Promarker. I raised it in the top corner and then all I had to do was add a few faux gems from JJD cards.
I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Through the Craft Room Door - Always Anything Goes
Artistic Inspirations - Anything Goes
Craft Your Passion - Always Anything Goes
Dream Valley Challenges - Girlie

MAWTT - Inspiration Photo

Come along and join us and let us see your take on it.
This is my card -
My card blank is by Joanna Sheen. I used a Crafter's Companion Embossalicious folder to emboss the white paper which I then matted on to orange glitter paper. The large butterfly is cut in bronze Mirri card with a Spellbinders die. The body is made with JJD Cards orange faux gems. Gold cord makes the antennae with an orange gem at the end. The quote is from the internet, generated on the computer and then matted on to green glitter paper. A small butterfly diecut is positioned top right - I was given lots of these butterfly diecuts by Nataliya.
I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

Fitztown - Anything Goes with a Twist
The challenge over at Fitztown Challenge Blog is Anything Goes with a twist and the twist is - use patterned paper.. Come and join us, you know that this is your favourite theme. lol
I used the image Fae 21 and you can buy this one and lots of other lovely digis from the Fitztown Store.
My card blank, once again, is by Joanna Sheen. The orange card is all from Papermill. The glittered backing paper is from a First Edition pad called Hideaway. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and then used a Sakura gelly roll pen on her face art and the butterflies, to add some glitz - I'm not sure that you can pick that up on this photo though. I used a Spellbinders label die to cut her out and then used three more Spellbinder dies to add the butterfly top left, the backing for the computer generated sentiment and the butterfly circle top right. The three other little butterflies are cut with a Martha Stewart punch. For more glitz I added some faux gems, from JJD Cards, to the circle top right.
I'm entering my card into the following challenges:

Inspiration Destination Challenge 3
We're on to Challenge 3 at Inspiration Destination and the standard theme is Anything Goes. Please come along and join us.
Our sponsor this week is My Whimsical Little World and the image is called Bed of Autumn Leaves. I used a Joanna Sheen card blank and then added a mat of dark brown pearlescent card and a beautiful backing paper by First Edition from their pad Hideaway. After colouring the image with my Promarkers I cut with a Spellbinders grand oval nestie. I set it at a slight angle before adding more Spellbinder diecuts of various leaves. The sentiment is one of a Lili of the Valley grunge set that I bought at Alexandra Palace craft fair. I added three small faux gems, from JJD Cards, to the oval and you might not notice but I did touch a couple of leaves with some gilding flakes by Imagination Crafts, also from Ally Pally.

Come along to Fitztown challenge blog and join us in our Anything Goes challenge. It ends Sunday 13th July.
I was assigned the image Valentine 5, available here, and decided to make a Valentine's card with it because the image is so beautiful. Tiger lilies are my favourite flowers and so it wasn't difficult to work with this image. It was a joy to colour and after colouring I cut it with a grand Spellbinders classic oval. I added some faux gems, from JJD Cards, to the bottom edge. I generated a simple sentiment on the computer and then after cutting with a smaller Spellbinders classic oval I matted it on to a scalloped oval in orange pearlescent card. I added three more of the faux gems underneath the sentiment. My card blank is a large square by Joanna Sheen. The glittered backing paper is from a First Edition pad called Hideaway. I matted that on to plain orange card as the background and base for the image and sentiment. It looks quite effective now that it's finished and I love it. lol
Please check out the Fitztown challenge blog for details of the prizes.

MAWTT - Easter/Spring
This week the host of the Moving Along with the Times challenge is Sue and she chose the theme 'Easter or Spring'.
The small card blank is by Craft UK. The image is a digi, available over at the Stitchybear Digi Outlet. I coloured it with my Promarkers and then cut it with my Xcut guillotine and matted it on to bright orange card by Papermill. I added a little bit of glitz by colouring the centre of the flowers with a Sakura Gelly Roll pen. The backing paper is from a pad by Kate Knight called Spring Fling. I matted that on to the orange card too. I added some faux gems by JJD Cards. A CAS card which I enjoyed making.

OSAAT #173 - Favourite Things
This is my card for the challenge over at One Stitch at a Time - Favourite Things. I've used my favourite things: flowers, dies and ribbon plus some faux gems, not forgetting glitter card!
My image this week is by Alipeeps over at Stitchybear Digi Outlet and it's called Spring Flowers. I printed it on to another of my favourites, ivory pearlescent paper by Papermill. I coloured it with Promarkers and cut with a Spellbinder grand nestie circle. I used Distress Ink on the edges so that it would stand out against the Hideway glitter paper from a pad by First Edition. That paper was matted on to bright orange card by Papermill. The card blank is a large cream square by Craft UK. I used my latest Memory Box die, Bella Bouquet, to cut the flowers which were also coloured with Promarkers. The orange satin ribbon is the last of my orange ribbon from Australia. I generated the sentiment on the computer and matted that on to orange card before adding some faux gems from JJD Cards.
The sponsor this week is Creative Craft World with 3 Promarkers for the winner. Please check out the OSAAT blog for details of prizes.

OSAAT #171 - Fold It
Here I am with another design team card for the challenge over at One Stitch at a Time. The theme this week is Fold It so we need to see folds in your card or papers. I had to choose one of Jane's images - under Coosty Creations, over at Stitchybear Digital Outlet. I eventually chose the Purrfect Paper Pack and in it you get four papers and the image of the sleeping cat. I love cats and it was no hardship for me having to colour this one. I thought, at this point, you might want to see my cats so here they are. I have two tortoiseshell females, Casey is the black tortie and Gracie is the white one.
Check out the OSAAT challenge blog for details of the prizes.
I used a Joanna Sheen large square card blank and the orange card mat is from Papermill. I coloured the cat image with Promarkers and used a Spellbinders grand nestie to cut it out. I printed two of the papers, the same one, and after fixing the oval to the top of one sheet I concertina folded the second sheet and affixed it under the image. It looks to me as if the cat is lying on a blanket on a shelf (do you think?). I used a Darice embossing folder to emboss a strip of white card and I used Distress Ink to pick out the paws. I then cut out the smaller paws and added those to the panel down the left side. I added faux gems to the top right and bottom left of the paper. I bought these from JJD Cards at Bluewater Craft Fair last year.
I'm entering my card in to the following challenges:

OSAAT #159 - Bright
The theme for this week's challenge at One Stitch at a Time is 'Bright'. My designer this week was Jess and I chose the image 'Floral Cap Nouveau W' and it's available to buy at Stitchybear Digital Stamp Store. You can buy other letters but my daughter in law is Wendy and as she is very artistic I thought she would appreciate this image on her birthday card this year. The 'bright' theme also helped because her favourite colour is orange and that's pretty bright!! My favourite colour is green so that had to be in there too.
My card blank is by Joanna Sheen. I used Papermill green card and Papermill orange card as the mat for the image. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and then cut it with a Spellbinders grand nestie. The beautiful image didn't really need much in the way of embellishments so I only added some flat 'gem' stickers to the corners - they are from JJD Cards. I also added a green ribbon to the bottom and that's from the local market. Job done and it's all ready for Wendy's birthday in July!
The sponsor for this week's challenge is Stitchybear. Please check the challenge blog for prize details.

OSAAT #148 - Use a Digi
A nice easy theme for you this week over at One Stitch at a Time - Use a Digi. It was my turn to choose an image for two of my team buddies so I hope that they like Corey by Sue of Beary Dust over at Stitchybear Digital Stamps Shop.
I coloured her with Promarkers and then cut with my Xcutter before edging with Distress Ink in Dried Marigold. The cream card blank is by Craft UK. I used a Crafter's Companion Embossalicious folder in large dots, on Costco's tan paper, as the background. I fixed the image to the right side of the embossed square and then set the last of my Australian orange satin ribbon down the left border. I added a bow and a computer generated sentiment to the strip of ribbon. The sentiment was cut with a Spellbinders inverted scallop square die and edged with the Dried Marigold Distress Ink. Faux gems from JJD Cards were used at the bottom corner of the image and top and bottom of the sentiment.
Please check the challenge blog for full details of prizes on offer this week.

Whoopsi Daisy Summer Colours
This is my card for the Whoopsi Daisy challenge this week - the theme is Summer Colours and you couldn't get much hotter than these colours!
I used one of the images from sheet 339 which you can buy here. There are four digis to a sheet and, at the minute, if you buy one sheet, for only £1.99, you get another sheet free, a fantastic price for fantastic images.
I used a small card blank from Craft UK. The backing paper is from a freebie pad by Kate Knight - Totally Tropical Summer papers. The orange card is from Payper Box. I coloured the image with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir pens and then used a Spellbinders nestie to cut it. I matted it on to the scalloped nestie in orange. Three small orange gems from JJD cards are in the bottom right of the image rectangle. The orange ribbon is from my Australian stash - it's beginning to run low! Yikes.
I'm entering it in to the following challenges:
Fashionista Challenge - Simply Summer
Ooh-la-la creations Challenge - Make it Girly
Crafty Sentiments - Anything Goes
Crazy Amigo Challenge - Orange
Die Cuttin Divas - Anything Goes - used my rectangle nestability dies
