MAWTT 3 2 1 Recipe
Come and join us at Moving Along with the Times challenge this week. It's Jessie's turn to host and she chose the theme of a 3 2 1 Recipe - 3 colours, 2 papers, 1 image. Here's my card:
My three colours are blue, green and orange and the two backing papers are from a Papermania pack. The image is by Linnie of Whoopsidaisy and is on her CD called 'Daisy and Friends' by Joanna Sheen. I've used this image a few times now. He's such a lovely little boy, even if I have put him in double denim! lol
The small card blank is by Craft UK. I coloured him with my Promarkers and after cutting with my x cutter I edged with Distress Ink. The papers were matted on to Papermill's lime green card. The Spellbinders number 2 die was cut in one of the papers and added to an orange Nellie Snellen diecut.

Fitztown - Anything Goes
Here is my card for the challenge over at Fitztown Challenge Blog - Anything Goes is the theme so I'm sure you'll come over there to join us.
I chose the image Sports 8 and it's available here or if you want to look at all the images then visit the Fitztown Store and have a ball!
This image reminds me of when Tim was young and he loved all things American - baseball being one of them. Friends were going to the USA for a holiday one year and we asked them to bring him a baseball glove back and they did, they also brought him a ball and he was thrilled to bits.
My card blank is by Joanna Sheen. I coloured the image with my Promarkers and fussy cut it out. I used a Crafter's Companion embossalicious folder on white paper before matting it on to pale blue card and then I matted that on to dark blue card. The blue card was from Papermill. I copied an image of a baseball bat from the internet and fussy cut that too before adding to the embossed sheet. I put foam pads on the back of the hat and set it over the bat and I think it looks quite effective. The embroidered cap in the bottom left is from a box of embroidery shapes which we bought in USA quite a few years ago. They are for adding to T shirts and the like but when I saw them I thought immediately of embellishments for my cards! lol It can be removed and ironed on to a T shirt. I bought two boxes of them and have only one box left - I've used flowers, palm trees and various other shapes. Well worth the money. I then generated the sentiment on the computer and cut it with one of my new Nellie Snellen dies in a diamond shape. Job done and I like! (That doesn't always happen.)

I'm having a good day
Today I'm having a good day, no problem with my eyes so I've made a card. I decided I wanted to colour a Delicious Doodles image so I chose Blossom.
Yes, I do know that what I've coloured as leaves are actually the petals of the blossom but I'd already coloured one image correctly and decided to make a change with this one. I'd seen another card with them coloured as leaves so decided to give it a go myself and I like it, so there! lol (Secretly I do prefer them as petals but whoever I send this to will never notice, will they?)
I used a Joanna Sheen large card blank and the backing paper I'm sure hundreds of you will recognise - it's from Create and Craft YEARS ago and I've rarely used it. I matted it on to Papermill red card as the base for my image. I coloured Blossom with my Promarkers and the butterfly in a Sakura gelly roll pen so give it a glitter. I also matted the image on to red card. I then used my new Nellie Snellen diamond dies to cut some diamonds as embellishments and then added some Wild Orchid Crafts pearls. Job done and my eyes are still holding out, hurray!
I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Delicious Doodles Challenge - Favourite DD image (not sure that's strictly true but Blossom is up there)
Card Mania - Flowers
Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes
Dragonfly Challenge - Anything With Wings
The Sisters of Craft - Anything Goes
Thank you all for visiting and welcome to my new followers.
