#88 Black and White

Come over to One Stitch at a Time challenge blog and have some fun with this one - Black and White, I loved it. My card, a large square by Craft UK, was made using Tami's digi of Winter Trees, available at Stitchybear Digital Stamps Store. The black card is from Papermill. I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder of snowflakes to emboss the white backing paper. The centres of the snowflakes are black pearls from WOC. The image was backed with black card and had Diamond Dust added to it to give a snowy look.

I'm entering this card in to the following challenges:
The Cheerful Stamp Pad - Trees
Daisy Doodles Creative Challenge - Use a Digi
Heart Song Inspirations - Anything Goes
House of Gilli Challenge 20 - Monochromatic
Delightful Challenges - Snowflakes
Papercrafting Journey - Embossing
Frosted Designs - Embossing

Our sponsor this week is The Stamping Boutique.

I've used an image, Smoochie blowing kisses, from the sponsor to make the second card. I used a similar format of embossing the white backing paper, with another Cuttlebug folder, before backing it with black card. After colouring the image with my Promarkers I cut it out using a Spellbinders rectangle nestie and backed it with a black scalloped rectangle. The black swirl at the bottom of the image is a Memory Box Valerian Flourish. I used a piece of WOC white cotton lace across the card and the circle at the top is the centre of a Fancy Circle Marianne Creatables die. I added diamond gems so that the ballet dancer has a 'spotlight' on her! lol

I'm entering this card in to the foolowing challenges:
Daisy Doodles Creative Challenge: Use a Digi
Heart Song Inspirations - Anything Goes
House of Gilli - Monochromatic
Moving Along with the Times - Fairy Tales, mine is The Little Ballerina
Papercrafting Journey - Embossing
