I needed a change!

I've made so many cute cards lately that I needed a change! I'm entering two challenges with this card: The ABC Challenge - which has the theme C for Crochet flowers and Papertake Weekly which says Anything Goes plus bling if you wish!

My card is a small square by Craft UK. I think I printed the backing paper from a CD a few weeks ago and then didn't use it. Now, of course, I can't remember which CD it was that I used. Duh!! I added a row of dark red pearls, from Wild Orchid Crafts, in to the pattern at the top of the paper. I used a strip of Costco's dark maroon paper as a central band and punched it with Martha Stewart's double arch punch. The shape in the centre is a Memory Box Whimsy circle and it acts as a beautiful frame for the crocheted flower. I added a further three cream crocheted flowers and I got all the flowers from Create and Craft.

  3. Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog, Hazel. You're such an encouragement to me (HUGS!!), and I am grateful for you. You might want to think about entering that postcard challenge at City Crafter that i'm Guest Designing, as there are only two entries so far, so chances of winning increase in the random pick. I'd love to see what you make. Hope all is well.
    Blessings,
