This is my Gardener's World card with a Flippin' Men stamp that I bought ages ago. I had forgotten about it until I saw Wendy's card, yesterday, on her blog and that reminded me so I dug it out. Thanks Wendy!
I used an ivory coloured large square card from Craft UK, via Joanna Sheen's site. The glittered backing paper is from a First Edition pad called Hideaway, and it's matted on to dark green card from Ross Paper. I cut some Spellbinders leaves in the dark green card and placed them down the right side. I added some dark green buttons along the bottom, they were from Create and Craft. I stamped the image with Memento black ink and coloured him with my Promarkers before matting on to more dark green card. I nearly forgot to say that I used my Distress Ink in Forest Moss around the edges of the image.

A rose for you
I used one of my little used CDs today to make this card. The CD is Card Plus Creations' Aroma Notes. I used the image of the large pink rose and matted it on to a bright pink doiley, cut with my Cheery Lynn die. The whole thing was then matted on to dark green (Ross Paper) and bright pink card (Papermill). I didn't want to use backing papers so as not to detract from the beautiful image of the rose. I used four pieces of Card Candi to complete this simple card. The card blank is a small square from Craft UK. There's a slight glimmer in the centre of the rose and that's from my flash photography - I will get it right one day.

Happy Easter
I hope you all have a very Happy Easter. I'm feeling much better and have actually managed to make a card today. My last easel card won at Sweet 'n' Sassy challenge blog and this image is one of my digi prizes.
I used a small square card blank from Craft UK and embossed the front with a Creative Expressions Tulip background mask. I wanted to leave it white so that the image of the tulips would stand out and I'm pleased with the way it turned out. I coloured the image with Promarkers and cut it with a Spellbinders rectangle nestie, backing it with a Ross Paper red card scalloped nestie. I added dark red 'Australian' ribbon.
I'm entering it in to the following challenges:
Sweet 'n' Sassy - Easter
Cardmad fairy's Digi Challenge - Dies and/or punches
Cardmakin Mamas - Easter
Prairie Fairy Fridays - Anything Goes
Glitter Geeks - Easter
Pattie's Creations - Easter
Wags 'n' Whiskers - Say it with Flowers

First GD card for Whoopsi Daisy
I've been asked to be a GD for six months over at Whoopsi Daisy and this is my first card. Please pop over to the blog to see the other cards and get some inspiration and then come and enter your card into the challenge. There's a prize of a sheet of digis every week so come along and have some fun. If you use a WD image you can win two sheets of digis!
My card blank is a large square by Craft UK. The backing paper is from a Clover scrapbook kit and I've had it for a few years. The yellow card is from Ross Paper. I used the teenager from sheet 343 over at the Whoopsi Daisy Shop where there are lots of lovely digis to choose from. I coloured her with Promarkers, cut it with a Spellbinders grand nestie circle and edged it in Distress Ink in Mustard Seed. I added some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts to the bottom corner. The flower at the top right is from America - it was in some candy I won from the Link up for Pink blog.
I'm entering my card in to the following challenges:
Prairie Fairy Fridays - Spring Fling

#107 New
'New' is the theme over at One Stitch at a Time this week. This means that you can use new items or make a card for a new baby, new home, etc. - lots of scope.
http://www.crimsoncloud.co.uk/
I used the image 'Friendship and Tea' by Gert over at Stitchybear Digital Stores. It's suitable for a number of ocasions but I used it for a New Home card. I coloured the image with Promarkers and edged it with Distress Inks after rounding the corners. I used a mat of pale blue pearlised card with the Spellbinders scalloped nestie. I also used a 'frame' of the scalloped nestie using bright yellow card. I think the yellow card was by Ross Paper and the blue card was by Payperbox. The backing paper was from one of the shopping channels but I've forgotten which one because I've had it for years. The verse also comes with the digi image and I printed it slightly smaller, in pale blue, to match the colours in the image. I generated the new home sentiment in the same colour. The scalloped card blank is by Craft UK via Joanna Sheen.
I'm entering this card in to the following challenges:

Moving Along With the Times - Cute and Cuddly - I'm not sure that mice are cuddly but they sure are cute!
The sponsor this week is Crimson Cloud who will be giving 3 sets of Die Cuts to the winner.

Spots and Stripes
I made this card yesterday but I've just managed to get a reasonable photograph of it today. The card blank is a large square from Craft UK and the backing papers are from First Edition paper pad Desert Blooms. The red card is by Ross Paper. I used my Texting Josh image that I won on the Ladybug Crafts blog. I coloured Josh with Promarkers before cutting in to a rectangle and matting on to a red rectangle. The black mobile is cut, from Mirri board, with a Spellbinders die. I used a red button from Create and Craft and tied it with baker's twine from Creative Expresssions via Joanna Sheen.

Flowers
I finished this card last night but I've just managed to get a photograph of it today. It's a beautiful day here, quite warm and it put me in the mood for housework! Yes, shock, horror. I've ironed, cleaned windows, topped up the pond and swept out the garage. I feel as if I can craft for the rest of the day without any feelings of guilt at all.
It's a large square card blank by Craft UK. The backing paper I've had for ages and it was from one of the shopping channels. The red card is from Ross Paper. I used one of the floral images from Ladybug Crafts Ink and coloured it with my Promarkers before backing it with more red card. I used three wooden flowers as an echo of the flowers in the digi image. The flowers are from Create and Craft. I coloured those with my Promarkers too. Reasonably simple card but I like it.

Spots and Dots
The challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy is Sports and Dots, or is it Dots and Spots? Hm, never mind, I've got both. The colours are Spring like so I've also entered this one in to the Joanna Sheen Challenge which has the theme Spring is in the Air.
The image is from Joanna Sheen's CD Daisy and Friends, all the images drawn by Linnie. I coloured it with Promarkers before cutting out into a rectangle. I cut a Spellbinders scalloped square and put it through the Grand Calibur with the Cuttlebug folder Swiss dots. This was used as a mat to make the image stand out. The backing paper is from a First Editions pad called Hideaway and I used the sheet of glittered spots in springlike colours. I matted it on to yellow card from Ross Paper. I used a Whimsy die to cut the circle and added a button from Create and Craft and some yellow baker's twine from Joanna Sheen. I generated the sentiment on the computer. The large square card blank is by Craft UK.

Love is in the Air
This is the second card I've made today, very simple but OK, I'm not in love with it but as I'm not 100% I think it will do. I used a small square card blank by Craft UK. The backing paper is from a pad that I received free in a magazine. The red card is from Ross Paper and the red starry sticky paper was from a craft show that I visited a few months ago. I got one sheet each of most colours and this is the first time I've used any of them. The image is also from a freebie pack from a magazine. This was a cheap card! lol The red organza ribbon is from Joanna Sheen.

Get Well Soon
I bought these stamps when I was at Bluewater Craft Show and I've been looking forward to using them. Stamped on to the cream card and then backed with yellow, leaf green and bottle green card makes them look very elegant. I added a small sentiment generated on the computer and backed it with the bottle green card. The bottle green and bright yellow card is by Ross Paper and the green is by Payper Box. The small card blank is by Craft UK. I've thrown away the packaging for the stamps and I cannot remember who made them so I must apologise for that - I love them too so I'm annoyed with myself for forgetting!
